Host a Workshop

Make the Road NJ hosts community financial aid workshops for students and families. We will work with you to design a workshop that meets the needs of the students and families you serve. Please contact Nedia Morsy (nedia.morsy@maketheroadnj.org or 908-967-3478) to discuss what would work best for your school or community. Sample workshop timelines are outlined below.

One-day workshop

If you have limited time available, we can run a one-day workshop to train your staff to complete financial aid applications for DACA and undocumented students. We will go over what opportunities are open to DACA and undocumented students, what documents parents and guardians need to provide, and how to complete the NJ Alternative Application.
